Family Medicine Physician Full-Spectrum Primary Care

A community-based health center is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join a collaborative care team providing full-spectrum primary care to patients of all ages, including underserved and vulnerable populations. This role supports a mission-driven approach to healthcare, with a strong emphasis on continuity, access, and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive medical care, including preventive and chronic disease management, to patients across the lifespan.

Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including outpatient management of HIV and other infectious diseases.

Participate in after-hours telephone triage coverage on a rotating basis.

Admit patients to affiliated hospitals when necessary and manage care as an attending physician.

Supervise and collaborate with mid-level providers and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Maintain complete and timely documentation, including EMR progress notes, referral forms, and regulatory documentation.

Participate in medical staff meetings, peer reviews, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Engage in professional development and continuing medical education to maintain clinical competency.

Teach and mentor paramedical personnel when appropriate.

Maintain compliance with infection control practices and organizational policies.
