Work involves gross sectioning and sign-out of pathological specimens including clinical pathology. At MUSC Health Orangeburg, you will work aligned with a dynamic 286-bed facility within a robust regional health care system, anchoring the northern region of the MUSC Health Charleston Division whose flagship Academic Medical Center is situated just 75 miles South of Orangeburg.

Required Qualifications:

• MD or equivalent degree with pathology specialty training and certification by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Must do Gross Pathology.

Position Highlights:

• Mon-Fri 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• One location - MUSC Orangeburg
• Full Lab staff support
• Routine Pathology - Anatomical and Clinical
• App 3,000 surgical cases a year
• Sign out of surgical cases including surgical biopsies, cancer resections, blood smear reviews, frozen and gross for large specimens.
